Five Climates Single Varietal (export label for selected markets)

While wines from the “Old World” are more focused on delivering regional or smaller appellation based wines  in an understated, subtle style; “New World” wines are made to please the modern consumer with juiciness, soft tannins and upfront aromas.

The Five Climates range of single cultivar wines aim to make friendly New World wines, but still with a real  sense of place

– in this case a distinctly regional wine, blended artfully from 5 different climatic areas in the renowned Paarl wine growing region where grapes have been grown & wine made for more than 350 years.

The style is marked by the sunshine & mild but wet winters, the maritime influence of a nearby ocean,  the protected river valleys, the exposed mountain slopes and the effect of violent windstorms.
